Derek J. Lobo
Of Counsel
Derek has been helping small business, estate planning and bankruptcy clients as an attorney and advisor since 1991. During that time, Derek has taken an active role in the community coaching youth soccer and volunteering at various nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children of low income families. In his spare time, Derek enjoys traveling, playing hockey, tutoring and coaching.
Education
Derek graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Political Science and Economics in 1987. He moved to San Diego to attend California Western School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1991 with academic awards in the fields of Taxation, Corporate Taxation and Sales. During his tenure at California Western, Derek had the privilege of interning at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Honorable Louise DeCarl Adler.
